Acer has unveiled their new line of “AGON” gaming monitors. The Acer Predator AG27CX is a 27-inch monitor with an 1800R curved screen, 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR support.
AOC has unveiled their expanded line of AGON Pro Gaming Monitors. The monitors are 27-inch mini led monitors that have a response time of 4ms.

AOC has announced a new AGON Pro gaming monitor series. IPS, Mini LED, and Nano IPS are examples of panel types. The screens are available in sizes ranging from 24.5 to 31.5 inches, with resolutions and refresh rates ranging from 1080p/260 Hz to 4K/144 Hz. Several HDR 400 models, two HDR 600 models, and the AG274QXM, a 1440p monitor with HDR 1000 capabilities, are available. All of them, including different versions of NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync, support VRR in some way. The most of the models are currently available, but two of them, the AG274QG (1440p) and AG274UXP (4K) with HDR 600, will not be until Q1 2022. The price varies from 449 to 1049 euros.

This weekend, AOC’s new Agon Pro displays are the star of the show. In comparison to a typical LCD panel, the new premium gaming monitors use a MiniLED display, which offers significant HDR advantages due to its better contrast, brightness, and broader color spectrum. MiniLED is also less prone to burn-in than OLED, making it a viable PC display option.
