With the new champion release, I have compiled a list of best skins in League. From Lux to Lee Sin, I’ve got you covered with all ranked champions as well!

“Elementalist Lux” is a skin for League of Legends. It has been ranked as one of the best skins in the game by many players.

Lux’s beautiful vocal lines, optimism, and dazzling enchantment warm the hearts of LoL gamers.

And, of course, who could forget her never-ending supply of light-hearted puns?

While Lux has a vibrant personality, her basic skin is a touch… dull.

It’s uninteresting. And it doesn’t do justice to her radiance, much alone her great mission.

Lux is fortunate in that she has a plethora of gleaming skins that transform her into the brightest thing in Summoner’s Rift. And on this list, we’ll rank them all.

Steel Legion Lux (#14)

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

The 1st of February, 2013 was the date of release. The price is 975 RP.

Steel Legion Lux is a game about which there isn’t much to say.

While it provides Lux a complete overhaul, I believe it lacks depth and distinctive appeal.

Lux is effectively reduced to a forgettable extra in a science fiction film. You know, the sort who will, at some point, tumble out of a spacecraft and give out the classic scream.

Okay, I’m probably being a bit harsh; the weapon has a steampunk flavor to it, which is cool, and if you like droids or mecha, you’ll love it.

The Steel Legion skin is the closest you’ll come to seeing Lux as any of these things.

Lux, the Sorceress

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: October 19th, 2010 The cost is 520 RP.

Lux may have to conceal her actual self, but she is a sorcerer at heart.

This skin enables her to exhibit her real magical colors for the first time: it transforms her into a cute witch.

She wears a witchy hat, wields a magical staff, and wears an outfit right out of Little Witch Academia.

Although the skin is adorable and a fitting homage to her legend, it falls flat.

The design is fairly basic, and the blue color is a little too dominant.

Lux, the Spellthief

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: October 19th, 2010 The cost is 750 RP.

Out of all the skins, Spellthief pays the most attention to Lux’s legend.

Lux is forced to suppress her power and repress her real personality, and this scene perfectly illustrates that.

She’s dressed in a cloak with a hood that shouts “getting up to no good — the forbidden, glittery sort.”

While this skin is the polar opposite of Sorceress Lux, it suffers from the same flaws: the design is uninspired and the colors are dull.

Commando Lux, No. 11

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

The 17th of June, 2011 was the date of publication. The cost is 520 RP.

Demacia, OTT castles, and medieval combat should all be scrapped.

This skin transforms Lux into a ferocious commander eager to slay anybody who insults her light jokes.

Commando Lux is not only badass, but also fashionable:

Her new hairdo, although lacking in texture, has a boldness to it that I can’t help but like, and the armor compliments her body (in more ways than one).

Now you can blend in with the Rift thanks to this skin (seriously, the skin is green from head to toe). But at 520 RP, a fun and original design? I’m not sure how I feel about it.

Imperial Lux is number ten.

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

The 29th of November, 2011 was the day on which the film was released. The price is 975 RP.

Okay, maybe this skin doesn’t deserve to be rated that low.

It’s basically Commando Lux, but with a shorter haircut, brighter color choices, and a little more imperial influence.

However, whenever I see Imperial Lux, I can’t help but think of a lovely Pokémon trainer. It can’t be me since she looks just like one!

In-game, when I play as Imperial Lux, jungle camps transform into Pokémon that I must collect, and my opponents become into competing Pokémon trainers.

Lux, on the other hand, would be Helioptile if she were a Pokémon – adorable and fueled by the sun.

Lux, the Lunar Empress

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: February 8th, 2018 1350 RP is the price.

We’ve finally arrived to the most exciting part!

Lux is transformed into a beautiful magical queen with this skin.

Her basic staff has been replaced with one embellished with blazing, golden dragons, and her shoulder pad armor mimics luminous wings, giving her a whole goddess look (sleek AND luxurious).

Her attack animations are also the epitome of “blinding light” — they’re so dazzling and glistening that they really burn my eyes.

The recall animation, though, has to be the greatest aspect of this skin. Lux conjures up two adorable doggos that prance, bork, and float about.

The cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

Battle Academia Lux is the eighth game in the Battle Academia series.

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: May 15th, 2019 1350 RP is the price.

This skin transforms Lux into a superhero who just wants to brighten the world with her incredible strength and positivity.

But, until then, she’ll be studying magic and slugging it out in the wild, chaotic, cringe-filled environment of “high school.”

Aside from the jokes, Battle Academia Lux is an excellent skin.

Especially if you like the popular anime series on which it is obviously based (Hero Academia).

Lux wears a magical schoolgirl attire with lovely frills and knee-high socks in Battle Academia. Her team has been given a kickass makeover, and her talents have been greatly enhanced.

Furthermore, the Battle Academia Lux ult (a blinding, massive laser beam) completely eclipses Goku’s Kamehameha.

Space Groove Lux is number seven on the list.

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

The film will be released on April 1st, 2021. 1350 RP is the price.

When this skin was initially released, it was met with a lot of criticism. This wasn’t due to a poor skin condition, however.

Rather, the pre-released version was superior than the official version.

The animations were far more funkier and smoother, however Riot Games altered Space Groove’s animations back to the unfunny base model ones owing to resemblance to Battle Academia.

Despite this, the rest of the skin is excellent. And I still think it’s worth the money!

Lux is given a groovy clothing, a Sailor Moon-style haircut, and a disco ball-powered staff by the skin.

Her assault animations are bright and lively as well.

Lux puts on some skates and starts rolling and dancin’ to delicious disco sounds, which is hilarious.

Battle Academia Lux is the sixth game in the Battle Academia series (Prestige)

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: May 15th, 2019 The cost is 2000 MSI tokens.

The Prestige version is Battle Academia Lux as if she were a student at the most exclusive badass high school in the world.

Her whole being is gleaming, beautiful, and flowing with gold.

She also has a fresh haircut and a gleaming staff — as if dazzling your foes with light isn’t enough. The new trend is to blind them with prestige and bling.

This skin, on the other hand, isn’t just for show.

Her assault animations have been improved as well. They now have stunning bursts of purple and pink (and, of course, plenty more glitter!) instead of just a simple gold tone.

5. Pajama Guardian Lux Pajama Guardian Lux Pajama Guardian Lux Paja

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: November 21st, 2018 1350 RP is the price.

Okay. I understand that most LoL players believe PG Lux does not deserve to be in the top ten, much alone the top five.

But bear with me.

Pajama Guardian is the cutest and most derpy Lux skin.

While donning a rabbit suit, you can practically zap your adversaries to death. It also comes with a pair of fluffy bunny slippers to match.

Plus, if you already possess the Star Guardian skin, you’ll receive a discount on this one.

Yes, it’s a “Star Guardian knockoff.”

But, in my view, the comedy of parading about the globe in such a skin is worth every dime.

4. Luminous Cosmic

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: March 26th, 2020 1820 RP is the price.

There was an otherworldly creature graced with beauty and unrivaled strength a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

She worked to keep the cosmos free of evil and bring peace to all planets, stars, and galaxies.

While she was known by many titles across the cosmos (the lady of brightness, sun wielding, master of light puns), only those close to her knew her actual name: Cosmic Lux.

‘Aight. Enough with the introductory crawl. Now, let’s return to the Rift.

This skin transforms Lux into a beautiful sentient creature capable of managing stars, planets, and galaxies, if you hadn’t guessed.

Her skin and hair are glowing with supernatural power (in a Captain Marvel type of way), and her dress screams “sci-fi heroic monarch.”

Her emotes are also really imaginative, fun, and out of this world (ba dum ts).

3. Luxurious Star Guardian

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

On the 17th of May, 2015, the film was released. 1350 RP is the price.

Let’s face it: we all spent our youth fantasizing about gaining magical anime abilities, discovering our destiny as a great warrior, and battling the forces of evil (with a cute feline sidekick helping us through it all).

Perhaps it wasn’t all of us. Maybe I’m simply imagining things.

But, hey, if you had the same dream as me, this skin will bring you a great deal of delight (as Marie Kondo would say).

Star Guardian Lux turns you into an adorable magical girl who can use sparkles, happiness, and rainbows to defeat your foes.

The only disadvantage?

You’ll almost certainly be tempted to binge-watch Sailor Moon once again (say hai to no sleep for the next few weeks).

2. Cosmic Dark Lux

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: March 26th, 2020 1820 RP is the price.

Dark Cosmic Lux, Cosmic Lux’s evil counterpart, comes up next.

‘Aight. Even while I don’t normally support people hellbent on destroying the world, I have to say that the dark side is crushing it in terms of aesthetics.

In every manner, this skin outperforms Cosmic.

A 0/10 Yasuo running it down mid is x10 more badass, x10 more gorgeous, and x10 more eye-catching than Dark Cosmic.

A ferocious theme that would make the Infernal drake envious? Yep.

A gown that genuinely embodies the universe’s beauty (and darkness)? Mhm.

Is there a crown suited for a king? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes

Even her voice lines have a mystical, sinister tone to them, making it difficult not to get engrossed in the skin’s concept (and unavoidably lured to the dark side…)

Dark Cosmic, like Cosmic, features some incredible emotes.

She rocks out and plays Beat Saber with planets in one emote, which will no doubt make Thanos pleased.

1. Lux Elementalist

Riot Games is responsible for this image.

Date of Publication: November 28th, 2016 3250 RP is the price.

Every Lux main’s ambition is to own Elementalist, and there’s a reason for that.

Lux’s finest skin isn’t only Elementalist.

It’s one of Rito’s top League of Legends skins.

It includes ten element-inspired skin forms to experiment with in the game, each with its own model, particle effects, and attack animations.

All of the skin forms are stunning, have a mystical sense to them, and have very smooth movements.

There isn’t a single detail missing from any of the skins.

You may also switch between forms throughout the game, giving your opponents a different sight each time you kill them.

Plus, Elementalist Lux makes you feel like the future Avatar (bending Brand to death with water is the finest feeling ever).

Elementalist Lux may deplete your money account, but it will mend your damaged heart.
