I’ve been playing the Sims series for over a decade now and I’m completely obsessed. I have multiple game guides on my website and keep an active forum community for the game. I’m always looking for new ways to improve my game and Sims 4 is no exception.
Castle CC is a lot of things, but it is primarily a guided tour of one of the most gorgeous castle interiors ever created in a video game, featuring two hours of gameplay.
In this guide I will be showing you how to create a Sims 4 CC, CC mods and lots for free. All of that stuff is free to download and you don’t have to pay for it like with other CCs. This is a guide for those wishing to create their own mods and CC with ease, without having to spend money on the CCs themselves which can become very pricey.
Castles and building go hand in hand in The Sims 4. This is the easiest part of the series to build, and many talented CC players have created amazing castles – both original and inspired by structures from movies, TV and games. Unfortunately (and this is not the fault of the creators) many of these buildings are unfurnished, as there is not much furniture suitable for a castle. While this is indeed the case in-game, we’d like to show you a few CC items that make these locks even shinier (and we’ll even show you a few batches here, in case you’re not ready to build your own).
15. Lock setting construction mode
Check out this AC. We start this list with the FelixAndre Castle Construction Mode set. These include the exterior decorative elements that distinguish castles from large mansions: Gothic two-story windows, pinnacles, buttresses, gothic vaults and gables. It also includes a dome, arch and window inspired by Schloss Sherwin, a real castle in Germany. If you want to build your own castles, you need this set to take your aesthetics to the next level.
14. Palace dining room set
Check out this AC. What would a castle be without luxury and royalty? The CC Palace table set from StrangeStorytellerSims is a collection of 8 pieces of furniture worthy of the most beautiful castles in the world. Choose from two dining tables (small and large), dining chairs, a wine table, a fireplace and much more. There are 151 swatches in this collection, but my favorite color scheme is the classic gold and blue.
13. Breath of the Wild Hyrule Castle
Look at this game. Fans of The Legend of Zelda will recognize this massive castle from LOZ’s latest release, Breath of the Wild. This SatiSim Hyrule Castle is a faithful replica of the game’s castle, inside and out. We’re shocked at the time and talent it took to complete such an ambitious project, but we’re happy to recommend the beautiful end result for download. And if that’s not enough, you can download this article directly from the gallery! Just search for SatiSim and find the name of the party (it will be on the 64×64 party). No CC was used, but you have to have the same packages as the creator to enjoy the game properly. 12. Workplace locking kit
Check out this AC. Here we present another creation of FelixAndres, again inspired by the German Sherwin Castle. This studio castle set includes 11 elements for building and buying fashion. The construction method includes a tower and tower base, a skylight and three types of wallpaper. There are two chairs, a statue, plants, a candle and a custom fireplace in purchase mode. Each item has one to 20 monsters, and you must have the Vampires and Dine Out packs to use them.
11. Stokes Castle
Look at this game. Speaking of Germany: This Stokesey Castle of Velouriah property is a rambling mansion built in the Windenburg. This 30×40 space is ideal for historical simulators, as there are virtually no electronics here. Sims use candles for lighting, books for entertainment, etc. And it’s a great download for those who need a Legacy house for a particular game, but don’t want to spend the time and effort to make one from scratch. You only need Get Together to use it. And if the property is expensive, there’s nothing freerealestate can’t fix!
10. Cinderella Castle
Look at this game. Whether you involve the proverbial stepmother and stepsisters or let Cinderella enjoy solitude, this Cinderella castle from Cm_11778 is Disney perfection. Built on a 50×50 lot, the castle has five spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms, a formal dining room, a music room and much more. If you are fraud-free, consider that this absolute work of art costs about 270,000 §. But at least it’s compatible with the base game and has no CC!
9. Rococo portraits
Check out this AC. The Rococo style in fashion and art is an essential part of the 18th century. The century. So, if you play The Sims in this era, you’ll love these rococo portraits from HistoricalSimsLife. This set of six CC portraits depicts fictional Sims from the creator’s own game, three men and three women of high social and community status. They are all dressed appropriately for the time, which adds to the spooky atmosphere. And you can find them under the paintings in buy mode for §500.
8. Sculptures of famous busts
Check out this AC. If you want real historical figures to shine in your castle, check out these 10 sculptures of famous busts. These busts are the result of a collaboration between the creators of Scan The World, Tom Flynn and the Museo Nazionale. They include real and famous characters from history, such as Adonis, Hercules and Charles Dickens. These are HQ grids, but not really alpha. Therefore, they are suitable for all playing styles. All busts are available in three varieties (grey, gold and dark) and are compatible with the basic set.
7. lock dress CC
Check out this AC. We talked about castles and their decoration. But now it’s time to talk fashion. And this castle dress from HeavendyCC is dramatic and beautiful, with a drag at the hem and an open V-neckline. The contrast between the low waist and the flared skirt suits every figure. In this dress, your royal sims will go to a ball or a fancy dinner and turn heads. It is also compatible with the Maxis system, offers a choice of seven colours and is compatible with the base game.
6. Departmental library
Check out this AC. It may be an unwritten rule, but for us it’s absolutely official: You can’t have a castle without a library. In front of you, you’ll see another StrangeStorytellerSim creation called Sectional Library. It’s an extensive collection of 68 items (yes, you read that right), including floor-to-ceiling shelves, a huge desk, a library staircase and much more. As if that wasn’t enough, the entire game doesn’t need any expansion packs. You only need the basic set to use it!
5. Other chimney specifications
Check out this AC. There were almost always chimneys in the living quarters of the castle. And the more luxurious, the better. We’ve already talked about many custom fireplaces for The Sims 4, but this AnnaQuinn fireplace pack offers one more option: A fireplace and its mantle, decorated with gold and ornate motifs. They are of very good quality, and the fireplace is actually a mural in the game. You will also need Seasons and City Living for installation. In total we counted three designs for the mantelpiece and six for the fireplace. But as always, let us know if you see more in the game.
4. Fontainebleau Boiserien for TS4
Check out this AC. When we think of castles, we often picture wallpaper and creative sculptures placed inside. There aren’t many EA-made wallpapers that are suitable for this purpose. That’s why the Fontainebleau Boiserie wallpaper set from RegalSims is a welcome gift for CC castle builders. Inspired by the decor of a room created for Maria Antionette, this wallpaper features a basic white and gold design with a variety of motifs, including images of angels and leaves. And as a bonus, there are two unique paintings that complement the wallpaper perfectly.
3. Crystal Chandelier Set
Check out this AC. This is the third StrangeStorytellerSim representative on our list, and we can’t stress enough how exceptional this author is at creating historical CC. This CC crystal chandelier is truly breathtaking. Covered in crystals and resembling dozens of lit candles, it would make a beautiful addition to the dining room or the main entrance of any castle. It is also available in three sizes with 66 color options and is also compatible with the basic set.
2. TS4 Historical portraits
Check out this AC. The best thing about castles is the art they house. The art provides an insight into the legendary history of each castle. HistoryLover custom historical portraits are historical photos of Sims friends from Maxis. They will make your castle walls intriguing and curious. The advantage of this series is that all sims photographed can be from different eras, which leaves a lot of room for play. A total of four Sims and a super-cute dog and cat are featured in the illustration, for a total of six portraits. You can find them in the paintings category in buy mode for §500.
1. Beauty and the Beast Castle
Look at this game. Disney fans, welcome! This epic creation by MychQQ is an imitation of the enchanted castle from the Disney movie Beauty and the Beast. This 64×64 room is impeccably decorated, with furniture that is the same or nearly the same as the original material. You have four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two living rooms and a famous kitchen with an incredibly long dining table – everything is included here. Although this is the most expensive property on this list with a total price of €630,000, it is worth every simoleon. Don’t forget to check the creator’s notes and required categories before downloading!This is a Castle CC site, so I’ll keep it short and sweet. The Sims 4 is the latest installment of EA’s popular life simulation franchise, and it’s available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. There are 81 different playable characters, each with their own unique traits. During the game, players can build a home to suit their needs, both for day-to-day living and for entertaining guests..
